Essential EP - Star Slinger - Rogue Cho Pa

Without a doubt Star Slinger , aka Darren has been my breakout beatsmith for the last couple years. With his remixes (Cocteau Twins,Gold Panda, Teams, Washed Out, Broken Social Scene, Chris Brown to name a few) and his banging first official release of Dumbin' with vocals by Reggie B its hard not to notice the sheer amount of quality work that has been coming out of Manchester through Darren.

I even made my own self tagged web compilation about a year ago trying to round up of Star Slingers available material at the time. It was first on Blaylocks Playlist sometime in 2010 when i first hear the sheer power of this man's beats and glitch hop.

Rogue Cho Pa is a self-released EP by Star Slinger in 2011 of tracks he had made that he know thought were basiclly dead, never to be released. His standards are fucking high if this is his trash he's not releasing. This shit bangs. Very Dilla-esqe. Very Dope.
